LOS ANGELES, CA (April 24, 2010) – Premier contemporary menswear line, FREEDMAN, is set to launch its Summer ready-to-wear collection at American Rag Cie, the fashionable and hip boutique that’s been a mainstay of California culture since 1984. The event will be taking place in their renowned “World Denim Bar” on Saturday, April 24th from 3:00 – 8:00 PM.
FREEDMAN’s launch will coincide with an art installation that will be brought to life by the co-op of artists whom have all drawn inspiration from FREEDMAN’s distinctive sunburst logo, seen above. Each artist is adapting the sunburst to their own unique medium, the product of which will be on exhibition in American Rag’s front window. A silent auction to benefit The Art of Elysium will also be taking place during the event.
Legendary guitarist Marc Ford (formally of the Black Crowes) will be performing a rare, live acoustic set with his new band, to begin around 6:00 PM.
Organic Nation Spirits along with Hansen’s Natural Beverages will be pouring delicious cocktails for our guests. We will have an old-fashioned hot dog cart on hand serving up the perfect, all-American snack.
