It's the Disguise

Friday, April 2 was the day it all came together, with numerous cocktail submissions from Southern Oregon Bartenders for the first annual Organic Nations' Sip Local Cocktail Competition honoring the 75th anniversary of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The judging positions highlighted local restaurant owners such as 38 on Central, Dragonfly, Omars, and other local personalities. And winning became a highly challenging and sought after award. The well rounded group of judges with commendable culinary experience landed on two winning cocktails, Viola's Disguise (crafted by Cate Gibbs, of The Winchester Inn) and Out Damn Spot (by Chris Wells of Tease Restaurant). These unique cocktails offered the bottom line, excellent flavor composition. To read more go here.
Thanks to Sarah Lemon of the Medford Mail Tribune for judging and blogging about her experience.
Above are the winning Mixologist from the competition including Chris Dennett of Elements and Ursula & Ted Raymond of The Black Sheep.
Cheers!
